Markus Bendler Ice climbing Val Passiria
    Pure Adventure
For those who like pure adventure, you are in the right place in Val Passiria. In Stulles, at the end of the valley, and in Innerhütt, the frozen waterfalls are waiting for all climbing freaks.

In Rabenstein/Corvara Passeier there is one of the biggest artificial iceclimbing-structures in Europe. The tower offers routes in the various difficulties; 18 sportsmen can climb on it contemporary. The structure consists of a 25m high ice-tower, a 14 m high ice-cylinder with a diameter up to 5m and a 2m broad and a 15m high side. These elements are completed with horizontal climbing-passages, several overhangs and difficult crossways.
The structure is suitable as well for experts as for beginners. There can be made first experiences in icy steep slopes, or the already known techniques can be improved.

The ice-tower Rabenstein will be open from the middle of December until the middle of February for each „ice-cold“ climber.

    THE ICEFIGHT RESULTS

THE ICECLIMBING STRUCTURES CLOSE ON 7TH MARCH 2010.
