Ski area Plan
Winter fun in all variations at one of the ski areas in South Tyrol where you are guaranteed to find snow. Ski runs for beginners and experienced skiers (1601 m – 2502 m), 2 drag lifts, a double chair lift, the new "Karjochlift" and a snow canon guarantee your winter fun. Ski and snowboard school with qualified teachers, mountain hut evenings, and ski school meetings, skiing by torchlight and torchlight processions. Every Thursday night skiing at the Gampen lift.

Ski area Racines - Giovo
Discover and enjoy the winter. The ski area Racines - Giovo is one of the most modern and one with assured snow in South Tyrol. Eight comfortable lifts with 25 km of slopes, a half pipe, and a toboggan run make winter sport fun. Skiers, snowboarders and carvers can find what they are looking for in this open ski area.
Open from 2nd December 2011 daily from 08.30 - 16.15 to 15th April 2012

Ski area Merano 2000
The family friendly ski area has something for everyone, a toboggan run, cross country track, wonderful downhill runs, sunny terraces at mountain huts, cleared hiking paths, loads of sun and much more. Connect a skiing holiday in a wonderful area with the possibilities of a spa town. Free ski bus to Avelengo and roads to Falzeben.
Merano 2000 is a ski and hiking area just above the village of Avelengo and is easily reached by car on the road to Falzeben or by the Ifinger cable car from the Naifweg.
All fans of winter sports will find their paradise here on Merano 2000 (1600 – 2300 m) as the mountain slopes offer many possibilities to have fun, alpine skiing, carving, snowboarding, cross country skiing, tobogganing and much more.
