The walking tour
The walking tour around the Kummersee, the legendary "Lake of Worries", situated in the village of Corvara in the Alta Val Passiria, combines a pleasant walk with the experience of nature and an exciting lesson in history. In the summer months, the former floor of the lake lying at an altitude of 1.340 m above sea level, can be circuited in about two and a half hours by foot, involving a climb of approximately 150 m. Stout footwear and weatherproof gear are recommended. Pleas enquire beforehand about the snow and weather conditions.
At the eight rest and information points, located in chronological order around the former lake, you can read interesting facts about various aspects of the Kummersee and its environment.
