The Hirzer railway begins from the picturesque place Saltaus/Saltusio and brings the travellers and physical lovers in few minutes up to the mountain station Klammeben on 1,980 m. Here you can enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama of the Passeier Valley.
17 alpine huts in the Hirzer-travelling area invite traveller and summit forward to comfortable staying and spoil this with typical inhabitant of South Tyrol and “Psairer specialities“.
The Hirzer railways consist of two independant cable railways (the stations Saltusio, Prenn, Klammeben. The altitude difference is about 1.500 m.
