Kalmtaler Almrunde
Follow the track from Magdfeld for about 1.5 km to Waldwies, then turn left onto an old path that climbs up steeply through a wood and then mountain pastures to the picturesque Faglsalm. Above the mountain farm you can walk up to Lake Fagl on path 4.
From the lake go in the valley until you come to a crossing (4), and follow path 5 down to Falser Alm. From here back to Magdfeld.

Hirzer Hut - Pfandler Alm
Take the Hirzer cable car up to Klammeben (1980m) and then walk on to the Hirzerhütte (1983m). Go past the Hinteregg Alm and Mahdalm (1990m) and then follow path E5 (not dangerous, but you need to be free from giddiness). Go past the Riffelspitze and on to the Pfandler Alm (1350m). From here you can go on to the Hofkapelle where the path turns off to S. Martino or S. Leonardo.

Mountain tour to the highest peak in the Sarntaler Alps - the Hirzer peak
Go from the mountain station of the cable car at Klammeben to the plateau of the Tallner Alm that lies in the middle of picturesque meadows. From here go right along the Gebirgsjägersteig at first through grass and then over stones and rocks in a steep ascent to the Obere Schart (4, 7, E5). From the ridge left over rocks and stones towards the peak and then up to the peak of the Hirzer. From the peak back to the Oberen Schart along the ridge, and then along the Gebirgsjägersteig down to the Tallner Alm. From the Tallner Alm back to Klammeben.
It is important to sure of your footing and free of giddiness on this tour. There are a few awkward passages under the ridge and between the ridge and the peak it is very steep. The path is well used and well constructed wherever possible.

Hike to Lake Obesell
Starting from Öberst in Vernuer first walk through fields and then later woods and then over the mountain ridge steeply up to where the paths cross just under the Hahenkamm (12a). From here the path is fairly flat to the Unteren Obesellalm (12). From the Unteren Obesellalm go up towards the picturesque Oberen Obesellalm, which can be found on a hill on the right above the lake (5).
You can also take the "Lustigen - Kameraden - Steig", which starts a few hundred metres before the Unteren Obesellalm, and then joins path 5. From the Oberen Obesellalm you can go back on the same path back to the Unteren Obesellalm.
From the Unteren Obesellalm keep on the right side of the valley and descend steeply to the Vernueralm and then on the track to the road (5) that goes from Vernuer to Öberst and back to the starting point:
