Törggelen
The local tradition in the autumn
The name comes from the Latin word „torquere“, which means the pressing of grapes and from „brauch “visiting the neighbours to taste the new wine.
Together with a spectacular walk through the autumn woods and then a rest at one of the typical guest houses to taste the local speck, hard bread, sausages and sauerkraut, ribs, local chestnuts and the new wine “suser”.
And to finish the evening off, how about a local schnapps before you go off home? That is up to you.
