Controlled bicycle tours in the Val Passiria

Extreme racing cyclist Beat Hauser
South Tirol is a paradise for cyclists, dreamlike conditions offer. Lying from 500 metres height, the Passeier Valley/Val Passiria offers the ideal starting point for easy tours with small increases, but also for long exits about the surrounding passports.
For the year 2011, Beat Hauser has devised a daring new endeavor: a total of 55,000 KM with the road bike (daily average = 150 km) and acrossed at least 500 passes.
We congratulate him on this success!
For 2012 he has devised a new endeavor - We wish him well in advance all the best!
In the January, February and March he want make daily 4000 – 5000 metres height (in Spain).
From April to end of the year he would like to drive the classic's round Mendel – Gampenpass 100 x. Distributed for the summer he would want 3 – 4 extreme day tours, for example Non-stop: Jaufenpass-Timmelsjoch-Sölden-Rettenbachgletscher-Sölden-Timmelsjoch-St. Leonhard-Jaufenpass-Timmelsjoch-Sölden-Rettenbachgletscher-Sölden-Timmelsjoch-St. Leonhard (= 11,800 metres height, 340 kilometres, running time: 15-16 hours)!

Controlled bicycle tours
Every Wednesday in summer a controlled tour takes place in the Passeier Valley at a price of 10.00€ per person. Conditions are a sure driving as well as a good conditon. The running time amounts per tour about 2 hours, the length of the distance amounts to 15 to 20 km, the height difference on 300 – to 700 metres height. With tricks and slightly learnable technologies the sure driving is practiced especially in the area.The tours are adapted to the constitution of the participants.

There is the possibility mountain bikes to lend (35.00€), this must be announced at the latest 2 days before to the tourist offices of the valley.
Moreover, the possibility insists after arrangement also individually controlled tours (Cost: 35.00€ / hour, half day tour 90.00€, day tour 150.00€)
